Mazzei Homes’ The Residence is a luxury home designed to appeal to home buyers with an eye for fine living. Mazzei Homes wanted a stylish and engaging micro-site, designed to entice buyers into wanting to know more – and picking up the phone to find out more.

The Residence micro-site required more than one balancing act. First, we had to find the right content balance – enough to pique interest, but not so much buyers didn’t need to call.

Second, the design had to balance the aspirational aesthetics of leading-edge architecture with the comforting and warm aesthetics of a welcoming family home.

Third, The Residence is being delivered by multiple project partners and the micro-site needed to acknowledge them all while remaining true to its single-minded purpose: to drive inquiries.


The design option Mazzei Homes selected was the most fun to design but the most challenging to execute as it required full customisation.

To manage the site’s diverse elements, geometric forms were used in the site design, providing space for the project’s key messages and its project partners. The geometric forms also reflect The Residence’s architectural approach and bring consistency to the overall design.The use of project-partner artwork – as a subtle background and in carousel-style galleries – further ties the overall design together.

To inspire curiosity and interest, drawings and floor plans were provided. And as phone inquiries were the priority, the phone number is clearly visible on the site. The online inquiry form is also placed above the fold for maximum exposure, helping increase conversion rates.
